In central Drammen, Birk & Co is planning an environmentally friendly neighbourhood with approximately 190 residential units, some commercial space on the ground floor and meeting places for the entire neighbourhood.
A former brick factory is being transformed into housing and commerce with local identity and sustainability.
A listed building is being transformed into a kindergarten with innovative solutions for external isolation and recycled materials. The outdoor area will keep its existing greenery and be improved so it can be enjoyed by the neighbourhood after kindergarten hours.
Mindemyren multipurpose building will include a school, a volunteer center, sports facilities and housing. The project is designed to facilitate shared use and will be accessible to neighbours and organizations day and night.

Lilleakerbyen, today defined by carparks, a shopping centre and offices, will be transformed into a vibrant and green district with car-free streets. The district is located a stone's throw from Lysaker, Norway's third largest public transport hub, and will be developed with cultural functions, shops, activities and public meeting places.
